Ingredients
350 g of 0% fat beaten cream cheese or cottage cheese
2 eggs
Sweetener*
10 g (1 flat tablespoon) of cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
The zest of 1/2 non treated lemon
1 pinch of salt
Preheat the oven Th. 7-200°C
Beat the cream cheese, the egg yolks, the cornstarch, the sweetener, the lemon zest and the vanilla extract
Beat the egg whites until stiff (with a pinch of salt ) and add them gently into the previous mixture
Cook in the oven for 25 to 30 min
Eat warm or cold
* Use the thermostable sweetener if it’s used for cooking. If you do not wish to use a sweetener, you can use fructose sugar (400 kcal for 100 g) or agave powder (392 kcal for 100 g). They have a stronger sweetening power for a lower amount used so they are less caloric.
